Memorial Day parade

Postby Dduck » Tue Jun 06, 2006 10:32 am

This was Memorial Day at the hometown where I grew up in, Round Lake, Illinois. The car had to be towed the length of the parade as it would overheat just idleing through at parade speed, especially in the 90 degree heat. My buddy Danny towed me, while my 4 year old nephew Chase, and my 13 year old niece, Maggie, passed out candy to the children we passed. We had a blast representing the 352nd and WWII Veterans, and look forward to doing this every year.

I know, I know. The lettering on Punchy's side isn't accurate. I hope to have that fixed soon.

Nice! Wish I could have been there -- the pictures show what seems to be the ideal hometown.
