Cripes at the R/C Airshow.

Postby Whiznr » Sun Sep 10, 2006 3:30 pm

Hey gang,
I'm going to attempt to post some pics of Cripes A Mighty from the R/C warbirds Airshow in Ballground, GA yesterday. I talked at length with it's owner about the 352nd, he was only familiar with some of their history. So, I filled him in on the rest, and have sent him the link to the website.
His plane was only on static display, and has yet to fly due to engine problems. It costs about $2,400 just for the airframe, all fiberglass. There were some amazing warbirds at this show, and if I get this to work, I'll post more. I also recommended he join the Group. He's a very pleasant, and well spoken individual, who'd fit right in with the Group. And he's representing the Group with an outstanding looking P-51.
Cheers,
Derik

p.s. I just talked to Todd, and he'll give me a hand with posting the pics later this week. [/img]

Looking forward to seeing the photos. It may be a while, as I'm still waiting on Todd to send me photos from the last reunion of Punchy and myself by my car.
