How to hang a model from the ceiling

Postby Parson » Mon May 15, 2006 9:29 pm

Okay, so I'm a total nimrod about this stuff.

But what's the best way to hang a model from the ceiling?

I used a hanging ceiling hook and two pieces of fishing line. Loop one section around the front fuselage and the second loop around the tail section.

Fishing line?!?

The fishing line we use here in San Diego is really thick -- for pulling Albacore, etc. out of the ocean. I think you'd be able to see that kind of fishing line too easily. Is there thinner wire available? Maybe for the smaller fish found in the Pacific Northwest? And if so, where would I find some here in San Diego?

If that wasn't a facetious post (and I'm pretty sure it was), then you should check a local craft/sewing store for some thin line.

If that was facetious post, then ZING!
