ImageThis is "Cile VI" flown by Cpt Chet Hawker of the 486th Fighter Squadron / 352nd Fighter Group. Cpt Hawker had some unique art painted on his P-51. "Luck of the Irish" with a horse shoe. Chet's parents were from Ireland, and he had strong ties to his heritage. Chet had 3 confirmed aerial victories.
